How to get the NIE in Valencia

Any european citizen living legally in Spain for more than 3 months has to apply for the NIE, which will be needed for many social or profesional  issues, like getting a health card.

 

The steps you have to follow in Valencia city to get it are…:

1.- Register as a resident

Go to: Valencia’s Town Hall in Tabacalera building.  Amadeo de Saboya street

bring:

  • Rental contract, original and copy
  • Passaport, original and copy
  • ID card, original and copy

2.- Go to the foreigner’s police station in C / Bailén nº9 (963.417.631)

bring:

  • Application form for the university, original and copya (students)
  • Rental contract, original and copy
  • Passaport, original and copy
  • ID card, original and copy
  • Certificate of your register as a resident
  • European sanitary card
  • Certificate of Registration of citizen of the U.E.
